Accommodation

Kingston is a student town with a wide range of accommodation options. The University has its own halls of residences and our Accommodation Services can also help you find privately-rented accommodation and houseshares.

Halls of residence

We have six different halls of residence, each offering high-quality accommodation at an affordable price. As an international student, you are guaranteed an offer of accommodation in our halls of residence during your first year (provided you apply in time and meet our eligibility criteria).

Take a virtual tour of our halls of residence to get a feel for what it’s like or read more about halls of residence on the main Kingston University website.

Private accommodation

Renting privately offers you a lot of flexibility and independence. As you’re only eligible for a place in halls in your first year of study, private renting is also the option you’re likely to take in subsequent years. Living in Kingston you will also be close to the large Indian communities based in London.

Based on current prices, you can expect to pay between £80 and £120 per week to rent privately (depending on location, room size, facilities and the number of students sharing) plus utility bills. Our Accommodation Services can help you find the right place. Read more about private accommodation on the main Kingston University website.
