Junaid Kazi, India (MA Marketing)

Junaid KaziAfter completing his MA, Junaid stayed in London to work as a business development manager for construction company Sibmar Construction Group. In this role he set up a new marketing department and formulated the company’s long-term business strategy. "The role was extremely interesting, allowing me to try out everything I learnt on my course, including marketing strategy, market research, marketing communications and finance," he says.

Since then Junaid has gone on to work in project management, IT and communications, and bid management. He is now due to become joint partner in a new business set up with Sibmar’s managing director. He also recently reached the final stages of the Business Leaders of Tomorrow Award.

Junaid chose Kingston for its highly-rated marketing courses and location. "The course was very rigorous and concentrated, with highly experienced tutors and enthusiastic students. It was career-focused – the personal and professional development module in particular was very helpful, teaching things like building your CV and interview techniques."
